Miguel's journey into the world of psychedelics and spiritual understanding began in 2003, when he devoted himself to advanced practices of Classical Yoga, Shamanism, Breathwork and Nondual Meditation after months of personal revelation in spontaneous lucid dreams. He immersed himself in multi-year shamanic plant diets and various traditions of Shaiva, Kriya & Vajrayana Yoga Tantras, receiving numerous empowerments and initiations since 2008.

Over the years, Miguel has had the privilege of training and studying under several esteemed teachers, participating in multiple apprenticeships, initiations, and immersive in-person study programs, some of which lasted up to 9 years. Some of his teachers include Ashok Singh, Surendran Pandaran, Garchen Rinphoche, Jason Miller, Tuwe Huni Kuin, Nina Valencia and Cesar de Morey. Notably, he has completed numerous multi-year training programs in Buddhist Tantra, Christian Mysticism and Ceremonial Ritual, further enriching his understanding of ancient wisdom and esoteric practices.

From 2011 to 2018, Miguel played a crucial role in an organization dedicated to Rain Forest Preservation, Indigenous Rights & Land Protection, and the promotion of natural wisdom traditions. Working closely with Master Shamans, Indigenous Leaders, and UN Representatives of tribes in the Amazon, and actively contributed to spreading awareness and understanding of these invaluable traditions. Miguel was part of the historic arrival of the very first Huni Kuin and UmbanDaime shamans from Brazil and the arrival of Kambo through them to the United States.
